GIIS Whitefield celebrated achievements and enriching activities in the month of February

Dear Parent,

As we conclude the month of February, I am filled with a lot of gratitude for the ongoing dedication and commitment demonstrated by each member of the GIIS Whitefield. Together, we navigated through the challenges and celebrated achievements, fostering an environment where learning flourishes.

Starting with our tiny tots, we are extremely proud of our KG2 students - Ishani Rayamajhi and Siddharth Krishnaraj who emerged as the first runner-up in ‘The Quizzlings’ an All India Inter-GIIS Quiz Competition hosted by GIIS Noida. They completed 5 rounds of the competition including English, Mathematics, Cultural/Audio Visual, Memory and Rapid Fire (GK questions).

GIIS Whitefield celebrated its Annual Day for all segments with great fervor, substantiated by the wonderful performances of our students. The Annual Day celebrations showcased our students' competence and teachers' mentoring. It has always been our sincere endeavour to provide a world-class education and platform to our students which develops their inner potential and nurtures 21st-century skills in them.

An open cricket tournament was organized at Whitefield wherein more than 10 club teams participated. 15 students of GIIS Whitefield from grades 4 to 8 played the tournament under the captainship of Rohit (grade 8). With unwavering determination and rigorous practice, they bagged 1st position in the tournament. This victory is truly a shining example of the maxim, “Teamwork makes the dream work.”

The Pre-primary segment of GIIS Whitefield initiated its first pilot project - My Learning Checkpoint (MLC), a progress tracker by parents of KG2 students. This is an innovative approach that renders the assessment process more holistic by including parents' perspectives. It was an event of bonding, connecting, and collaborating in the shared value of helping our children to emerge as the best version of themselves.

I extend my deepest appreciation to our parents and guardians for their support and partnership in the child’s journey. Their involvement and encouragement play a pivotal role in nurturing our students into a well-rounded individual.

As we embark on another month, GIIS Whitefield will continue to strive for excellence and make a positive impact on the development of our students.

Warm Regards,

Manoj Kumar Tiwari
