Students exhibit great talent at science exhibition

An exhibition is a platform for the students to work together in groups. This gives them the opportunity to develop social and moral skills.

A one-day science fest with the aim of creating awareness about the World Environment Day (WED) among students, GIIS Tokyo held a science exhibition at its Nishikasai Campus on June 7, 2019.

The World Environment Day is celebrated on June 5 every year and is the United Nation's primary mode for boosting awareness for the protection of the environment.

The students created their models keeping in mind the need of the hour to protect the environment. The exhibition was also an endeavor to stimulate the attitude of students to innovation and scientific aptitude.

Science always reveals a new truth, a new discovery, an unknown reality, and as the necessities change, so do the inventions and development.

The students of grades 1-4 inspired everyone with their various working and non-working models. They were seen explaining the details of their exhibits to their fellow schoolmates and parents.

Students of grade 5 satiated themselves by getting to know the science behind the working of things. Working at school and presenting their results made them feel accomplished.

The school leaders praised the teachers and students for taking initiatives and stressed on the fact it was imperative to prepare the students for a variety of scientific and technological developments.
