International Hindi Diwas Day was celebrated at GIIS Tokyo on 10th January 2022, in the Indian Embassy Cultural Hall.
India is a country known for its numerous customs, religions, and traditions, making it a rich and diverse nation where languages flourish. Among the many languages spoken, Hindi is considered the dominant language as it is widely used. World Hindi Day or Vishwa Hindi Diwas is celebrated on 10th January every year to mark the anniversary of the World Hindi Conference. The first World Hindi Conference occurred on 10th January 1975, in Nagpur, Maharashtra. This day is mainly celebrated to promote the Hindi language, globally. ?This year, the topic name is Swarnim Yug of Hindi Literature. Through this topic, the students presented information on various yugas and the positive changes in our society.
The presentation style was clear and relatively easy to understand. Viewers and other attendees liked the program and found it informative. The event was appreciated by other schools and university students, as well. The students’ parents, who were present at the event, were delighted to attend and responded with positive feedback. They also mentioned that through the experience, they got to learn and understand a Hindi Literature poet’s hard work.
