Students had an opportunity to interact with Mrs. Shobhana Radhakrishna, Chief Functionary of Gandhian Forum for Ethical Corporate Governance, at a Leadership Lecture Series held here in May 2019, and get an insight into the life and habits of Father of Indian nation. 

Mrs Radhakrishna grew in Mahatma Gandhi’s Sewagram Ashram in India. She urged the students to follow Mahatma Gandhi’s life and thoughts as they continue to guide people in many parts of the world. Her background knowledge of Gandhian constructive work and social development led her to dedicate her life to the cause of serving the poor and the underprivileged for self-reliance by taking up grassroots constructive program for their empowerment.

Mrs. Radhakrishna was enthralled by the fact that the students of GIIS Tokyo ardently take part in weekly Mahatma Gandhi Morning Assemblies. She requested the students to sing the Sarwa Dharma Prayer, to be modest and have humility towards others.
