GIIS Tokyo students stimulate their imagination during Orange Colour Day

On 28 February 2023, Orange Color Day was celebrated at GIIS Tokyo Kindergarten campus with great zeal and zest.

Orange is known to be a dynamic colour that helps stimulate imagination and creativity.

The students participated in many classroom activities where they learnt interesting facts about the colour orange.

Our little Seedlings and Saplings were dressed in shades of vibrant orange hues.  Students were given a thorough understanding of the colour orange through different activities, such as how to get the secondary colour by mixing two primary colours: red and yellow.

The nursery students made an orange colour garland and indulged in some fun carrot printing, the K1 class squeezed out oranges for juice and enjoyed every refreshing sip, and the K2 class had fun with cooking where they experienced how to make Fruit and Granola Parfaits with Whipped Cream.
