GIIS Tokyo students feel bright and happy by celebrating Red Day

The Kindergarten campus at GIIS Tokyo recently organized ‘Red Day’ on the 27th of April 2023 to introduce children to a mesmerizing realm of colours.

The various shades of red made the tiny tots feel bright, lively and cheerful. The school corridor displayed different shapes of vibrant hues. The students looked stunning in their red outfits.

A special assembly was conducted with an emphasis on the significance of the colour red. The young ones sang ‘"Red Red I can spell Red” which also conveyed their enthusiasm for life and vitality. To welcome the first rays of the summer sun, parents and children showed their creativity by preparing wonderful crazy hats. The children were encouraged to plan, design, decorate, create, and construct a crazy hat.

The students made a spectacular red colour craft project during class hours; some of the projects included a red colour poppy flower, a rocking ladybug, a red lady puppet, vibrant tomatoes, etc.

The celebration was a wonderful learning activity which helped the Kindergarten students reinforce their cognitive skills.
