GIIS Tokyo students celebrate Holi as Art Day

The students of GIIS Tokyo Seishincho campus celebrated the vibrant festival of  Holi on 8th March 2023. They celebrated this joyous day as Art day by putting their favourite hues on paper.

The colours were made available to each student in every shade and different classes executed a variety of paintings; each colour was transformed into a piece of art which evoked merriment.

Holi is the festival of colours, celebrated across India. It is celebrated at the start of spring and celebrates the various emotions of joy, love and friendship, by using colour as its chief medium. On the day of Holi, all hostility – active or passive – ceases and people make it a point to meet and greet each other with a smile, a dab, spray, or dipping their hands in colour.
