The students of GIIS Tokyo PYP Grade 4 conducted student-led council elections for the academic year 2022-2023, on 16th and 17th March 2022.

The student-led council is elected as a group, and they help with promoting as well as supporting school improvements.

Campaign week began with detailed and innovative candidate speeches.

Ten parties contested for the student council elections, wherein each party president prepared a speech to convince their classmates on why they should be elected as the student-led council president. Through the election campaign process, each party showed immense leadership skills and prowess, which were reflected in their speeches.

Every electoral participant put their best foot forward, and after a week of intense preparation, creativity, and votes, the winner was announced.

Isay F. of team Bright Butterflies, along with his team members, were victorious. His student-led council includes Deeksha H. as Vice President, Hiyori I as the Secretary, and Qaleef F. as the Treasurer.

Additionally, Saatvik S. of team Candescent and Isshin O. of Crescent successfully secured Second and Third positions.
