The students of GIIS Tokyo SSD campus celebrated Book Week from 14-18th November 2022.

The exciting week started with the students engaging in a fun role-play session in class followed by an interactive story-telling session with Dr Megha Wadhwa.

She read an engaging story on Dora and the children were mesmerized the whole time, the session continued with the students creating fun craft projects based on their favourite fictional literary characters.

It was truly amazing to see how much effort our students put into their special costumes and outfits, which were based on their favourite book characters. Book Week is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our children’s literacy success and for families to see all the wonderful effort that occurs at our school campus.

This event was conducted to instil a love for books in our students, while they learn from special fictional lessons on respect, love, appreciation, and humility.

The Book Week celebrations were a significant event in our school calendar because the students showed much interest in the various activities and they enjoyed every part of the event.
