It is popularly said that the development of a country should be largely focused on children because its future depends on their education, rights, and their proper care. 

Keeping the above thought in mind, teachers at the HK campus organized an event to celebrate this special day with CLSP, IGCSE and IB DP students.

The event began with a prayer to thank and seek blessings from God. The Principal, Ms Madhu Khanna addressed the students thanking them for their hard work and congratulating them for bringing laurels to GIIS Tokyo. This was followed by the distribution of UNSW – Digital technologies, Math and Science medals and certificates to CLS/IGCSE students.

A musical performance of the song Teach your children by Mr Sam received appreciation from all students. Additionally, a video showcasing various pictures of children was loved by everyone.

Other events included a Bell performance, riddles/tongue twisters, a skit and a dance performance by teachers. The event concluded with the Japanese and Indian National Anthems.
