To honour their beloved grandparents, the students and faculty of GIIS Tokyo Kindergarten SSD campus celebrated Grandparents Day as Purple Day on 29th September 2022. 

Grandparents are a family’s greatest treasure, the founders of a loving legacy, marvellous storytellers, and the keepers of traditions. They are known as the strong and stable foundations, in every family, and through their special love and care, grandparents always keep their loved ones close at heart.

The event started with a warm welcome followed by a melodious singing performance by K2 students, which left the grandparents spellbound and thoroughly mesmerized. Additionally, there were fun games and activities which included passing the ball and musical chairs. They enthusiastically participated in all the events. Everyone seemed truly happy. 

This Grandparents' day was a memorable one, as they left with pleasant memories, loads of appreciation and heaps of blessings to the school and its management.
