Tiny Tots of GIIS Hadapsar Celebrated Janmashtami with religious fervour

The Global Indian International School (GIIS), Smart Campus Hadapsar celebrated Janmashtami as a mark of the birth of Lord Krishna on 27th August 2021, one of the most powerful and famous reincarnations of Lord Vishnu.

Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with great pomp and festivity by the tiny tots of the pre-primary section at GIIS Smart Campus Hadapsar and celebrated Lord Krishna's birthday. The students dressed up as Lord Krishna and Radha, complete with flutes, peacock feathers, and matkas.

The celebration that followed was truly entertaining and educational. The birth story of Lord Krishna and the importance of celebrating Janmashtami were explained to the children. Following that, children thoroughly enjoyed the ‘Matki decoration’ activity by drawing, colouring, and decorating their matkis.

Dressed as Radha and Krishna, the cute little ones added a traditional touch to the entire celebrations when they danced to the beat of Janmashtami songs, filling the air with joy and festive spirit.

It was indeed an array of joyful virtual celebrations with joyous melody and twirling dancers.
