Successful culmination of the academic year 2020-21

Global Indian International School, Smart Campus Hadapsar aims at Next Generation Learning. Our astonishing global community is one of the aspects that makes GIIS such an astounding place for students to learn, grow and develop into future global citizens.

Kindergarten Graduation is a celebration that marks the journey of a child to a school in which they will be spending 10 long years facing ups and downs and experimenting and exploring new ideas and shaping themselves into tomorrow's leaders. Graduation is about celebrating achievements, being with the people you shared a part of your life with, and being proud of your journey.

On 15th March 2021, GIIS Smart Campus, Hadapsar had an amazing day to end their virtual year of the teaching-learning process. The KG section celebrated the Graduation day in a different manner by making a lovely “No-bake cake” that the young culinary Master Chefs loved doing, using simple ingredients from their home and presented it to their family members. The students of KG2 were blooming with excitement on the last day and were eagerly awaiting to embark the new journey towards Grade 1. Each student was given an opportunity to express his/her feelings about the experience they had & to share their level of excitement for their future endeavours. Their learning spirit and active participation will always be cherished!

The benefits of parent involvement are clear at GIIS. Research has shown that successful parent involvement improves not only student behaviour and attendance but also positively impacts student achievements. GIIS Hadapsar is well-known for student-parent involvement. The school engages the parents, communicates with them regularly, and incorporates them into the learning process. The same was witnessed during the virtual Graduation day celebration of pre-primary, year-end celebration & PTM (report day). The PTMs were held on 26 & 27th March 2021 to declare the results of the first virtual academic session 2020-21 & to discuss the progress/ performance of the students. These were the memorable days where the teachers, and parents were filled with pride seeing their wards progress towards new horizons!

Orientation day is a great way to become familiar with the campus as well as meet some new people! It is meant to guide and assist students & parents towards a smooth transition. On 28th March 2021, the parents & students were made familiar with the GIIS curriculum, online portals like MyGIIS, Zoom, Google Classroom, Eklavya & multiple interactive applications. It was followed by the Principal’s address that emphasised the in-built values of GIIS & rules to be followed in the new academic year for a hassle-free session.
