Graduation is a time to celebrate new beginnings and say goodbye to everything that has given you a reason to smile. It is warm memories of the past and big dreams for the future.

To applaud the young enthusiastic learners of Kindergarten 2 for their commendable performance in the session 2020-21 GIIS Smart Campus, Hadapsar celebrated Graduation Day on 6th March 2021. 

As we now see our little ones ready for formal schooling, it’s a day of pride, happiness, and achievements as our tiny tots filled with enthusiasm and verve are ready to enter a new phase of their academic lives. So we took the opportunity to congratulate all our loving students on this occasion of Graduation Day. 

The pre-primary students bid goodbye to this unique year that has come to an end, by celebrating Graduation day. The year was full of cherished memories and learning activities and we would like to keep this momentum going on for the next session. Also, the unwavering eagerness and spirit to excel among the students were evident throughout the session.

GIIS students, parents, and their teachers worked hard as a team to put up the most entertaining and mesmerizing event of the year. The day started with the welcome speech by respected Principal Dr. D. Lakshmi Prasanna as she congratulated the tiny tots and highlighted the role of teachers in the student’s learning process. Followed next was a speech by Mrs. Vaishali Borde, National Head, Co-Scholastic & GMP also addressed the students, parents, as well as the entire team of Pre-Primary teachers and shared her thoughts on why ‘Empathy’ is so important a universal value. 

Following this, the graduating batch welcomed the audience on a rhythmic note with a welcome song, then they exhibited various Montessori skills that they learnt during the course of the year for everyday practical life skills. Glimpses of the year studded with activities were shared in the form of a music video on the memories captured during the session. Students also showcased their academic skills with a skit on our solar system. Then students hummed a chorus song, expressing their gratitude towards their mentors and parents. A virtual photo session for the young graduates followed after this.

At last, students were awarded certificates of graduation which they accepted with gratitude and happiness. It was indeed a wonderful session for all of them and this event shall remain in the memory of the viewers and participants for a long time. 

The programme culminated with the vote of thanks by Ms. Sharmistha Sen, Academic Coordinator of the campus.
