It was a proud moment for one and all at GIIS Smart Campus, Hadapsar when Prashvi Maheshwari, a student of KG 1 made it to the India Book of Records recently.
Prashvi put on a good show and impressed everyone as she performed 178 spins of hula hoop in a minute.
At the age of 4 years, 4 months, and 5 days, Prashvi performed the maximum number of hula hoop spins in one minute, thus entering the India Book of Records in the event which took place on 21st November 2021. A hula hoop is a plastic, circular tube that can be rotated around the body by circling the waist.
Since 2006, the India Book of Records has been the undisputed curator and the custodian of Indian Records. For them, it is simply not about making a record; but pushing the human boundaries to reach a yearning for the collective good of mankind as well as overcoming individual limitations.
It was a proud moment for her parents to see their daughter get honoured with this achievement. Speaking after Prashvi achieved the feat, her parents said "It is a proud moment for us as our daughter has honoured us with a feather in her cap. We believe that Prashvi is like a trophy in our life. We are glad that Prashvi was recognized for her special talent."
Looking at her name inked in the India Book of Records, it was also a proud moment for all the other parents, fellow students as well as the teachers of the school who sincerely hope that she keeps collecting such feathers in her cap and continues making her family, teachers, and the school proud.
With Prashvi being an exceptionally talented student. She deserves more. With constant support from the school, teachers, and parents, she will certainly achieve higher milestones and keep the hustle going.
GIIS Smart Campus Hadapsar constantly motivates students and encourages them in endeavours like these.
