The month of November recognised the talents of budding GIISians and were nurtured by their mentors to enhance them further. Students resumed classes post Diwali vacations and were assigned various roles to gear them up for the upcoming and the most awaited event of the year - Annual Day!

The scintillating and noteworthy Music Director, Composer and Singer - Mr. Shekhar Ravjiani visited our campus to inaugurate our new Music Studio. Mr. Shekhar Ravjiani was welcomed with some sensational musical rendition by the young musicians of GIIS Smart Campus Hadapsar and Balewadi.

November being the month for our students, a spectacular program was organised by the teachers on the occasion of Children’s Day which was cherished and celebrated with great joy.

Various activities like dance competitions, Hindi and English poetry recitation competitions were conducted for students of grades 6 to 9 wherein students exhibited their talent with great zeal and enthusiasm. Students also participated in various sports competitions and have brought many laurels to our school.

The highlight of this month was the Global Little Star event organised for our little toddlers of the various pre-schools in Pune. This event was an eye opener and an icing on the cake for showcasing the talents of the budding artists and achieving accolades for themselves.

I-Care activities were conducted in Grades 1 and 2 where the students learned to be grateful for everything they have. Math Magic activities like tricks

and techniques of multiplication and Thinking Thursday activities like Anagrams and Rainbow Clouds were conducted that helped them establish a strong foundation of process skills which ultimately lead to proficient reasoning, analytical and problem solving skills.

This month was an enriching experience not only for the students who toiled towards achieving great heights in various categories but also for the facilitators who thoroughly groomed the students time and again to reach the zenith.
