Dear Parents,

Greetings everyone! I hope everyone is safe & fine and making their way through these unprecedented times. It’s hard to believe that we’ve been on a virtual mode for more than a year now. I wanted to thank the parents of our E-Learners, for all the support extended in making the distant learning platform so successful.

The New Academic Session and a new month zoomed off with a bright start on 5th April’ 21 as our classes grew larger and were filled with the charming faces of children, bubbling with great enthusiasm and fervour.

Our first event for the month kicked off as the ‘Reading Month’ in April, where children were encouraged to read and made aware of good reading habits. Well, it was an important activity, as we strongly believe that reading enhances one’s knowledge and takes us to magical places.

The entire month of April was celebrated as the reading month, followed by our first international competition. The Global Student Exchange (GSE) programme, took off on 23rd April with our GIIS, Smart Campus Hadapsar standing in second place amongst Tokyo and Balewadi campuses.

The children from Grades Pre-Primary to IX also celebrated Earth Day on 22nd April and showcased their talent by creating posters, awareness campaigns, and waste materials put to the best of use.

After all that excitement, we barely caught our breath and once more we were ushered into the ‘Safety Week’, which was held from 26th April to 2nd May. During this, students were educated on various safety topics such as safety at home, in the school, on the road, and health, keeping the current pandemic situation in mind. Certificates were awarded to the best entries. All the students participated actively and wholeheartedly.

At last, I want to wish everyone a very happy and restful upcoming Summer break! I encourage all of our students, teachers, and families to use this break as a time to relax and enjoy their days off from school and utilize the holiday time meaningfully while covering and practicing the holiday projects.

The school shall reopen with virtual classes that will commence from the 7th of June. Until then stay tuned, stay healthy, stay positive. That’s all for this month folks!
