Yudith Sadashiv, a student of Grade IV B of GIIS Smart Campus Hadapsar finished with an impressive performance as he clinched three golds and 1 silver medal in the Under-10 Boys category during the swimming competition which took place at Maverick Sports Academy.

Yudith put on his best performance as his first gold medal came in the 25 Meters Freestyle category with a timing of 23 seconds. The second gold medal was won in the 25 Meters Breaststroke category which Yudith completed in 36 seconds. In the 50 Meters Freestyle category, Yudith finished on top with a timing of 1:01 seconds, thus clinching his third gold medal.

The silver medal came in the 25 Meters Backstroke category with a timing of 32 seconds.

Yudith started his training on 1st June under the watchful eyes of Mrs Gauri, Mr George and his grandfather, Col Chandrashekhar. His duration of daily training was an hour and a half which included a lot of exercises and routine to build his strength and stamina.

Throwing light on his performance, Yudith's parents said "We as a family were overwhelmed when he got these medals since we aimed only at giving him exposure to the competition. He truly surprised us by bringing 3 Golds and a silver in his maiden competition. He himself was extremely happy and excited every time he went to receive his medals. He was totally dedicated during his training days and worked very hard."

Yudith was felicitated by the school with a flower bouquet in the morning assembly.  GIIS Hadapsar always nurtures young talent. Yudith has really made the school proud and the school wishes him more success in life.
