GIIS Hadapsar’s Shreshtha Pawar bags top-spot at Stories Coming Alive Event

Shreshtha Pawar a KG-2B student of GIIS Smart Campus, Hadapsar bagged the first position in the ‘Stories Coming Alive Event’ which was organised by the GIIS Noida GMP team for the students of GMP (Kindergarten 2) on October 23.

Children from different campuses of GIIS participated in the event and showcased their talent. Some of them were dressed up as characters and presented their story with the use of facial expressions and voice modulation. Each and every story was recited with a moral. 

Standing out from the rest and putting up an impressive show, Shreshtha Pawar narrated the story ‘Bee & The Earthworm’ through which she gave the message that we should never give up.

She displayed good confidence and demonstrated her exemplary skills while she narrated the story which helped her clinch the top spot.

Congratulating Shreshtha on her feat, Dr. D.Lakshmi Prasanna, Principal, GIIS Smart Campus Hadapsar said "During this happy moment of one more feather being added to our cap, I would like to extend my best wishes and congratulate students and the staff in charge of training the students. Shreshtha shall be felicitated on winning the prize."

Speaking about Shreshtha's win, her parents said "As parents, we are totally contented by the graceful win of Shreshtha. We will take this opportunity to thank Shobhita ma'am for believing in Shreshtha and giving her a really very motivating and understanding script for story-telling. This competition was a new step for Shreshtha to learn new skills and practise to enjoy her improved self-esteem.”

Reacting to Shreshtha's feat, Shobhita ma'am the teacher who helped her prepare for the event said "GMP Stories Coming Alive’ competition is such a nice platform for the budding narrators and a great encouragement for the little champs. Shreshtha Pawar is very good at expressing her thoughts/ideas which led me to provide such an excellent opportunity to enhance her speaking skills. She could completely connect with the story and its moral value along with her amazing narration which helped her to achieve such a good recognition. I feel extremely happy and proud of her. I would like to thank her parents for being such great support for this event. My best wishes to Shreshtha Pawar to achieve more and more success in her life.”

In total, there were 12 participants from six campuses who participated in the event. The six campuses include Ahmedabad, Balewadi, Bannerghatta, Hadapsar, Noida, and Whitefield.
