Greetings to all!

The month of February witnessed a lot of innovation in learning. It was a great pleasure seeing our students absorb every bit of knowledge in the most fun way.

Continuing our focus on perseverance and teaching initiatives, we celebrated Mathematics day. A special assembly on National Mathematics day was organized by Sunflower house, Senior school students on 2 Feb 2023. This was celebrated to mark the birthday of Shri Srinivasa Ramanujan. The objective was to create awareness about the importance of mathematics in day to day life situations and also to create students' interest in studying Mathematics. Students were amazed to see how math was used in framing dance steps through a dance demo.

Our students won several accolades at the RWCC India competition this year. RWCC India was hosted by GIIS Balewadi virtually to promote inter campus learning among the students of Indian and across campuses. We are extremely happy to share that GIIS Hadapsar students flared the flag by performing astoundingly well in the RWCC competition by participating and showcasing unmatched talents and skills in the plethora of events that were organized as a part of the event which ensured us bagging the championship trophy for the overall category as well.

The objective behind organizing this competition was to motivate young minds to network with a host of people and address problems of today. They are encouraged to research on their chosen topic, find solutions and present their opinions.

This success is definitely an example of the dedication, sweat and hard work that has been put by each member of the GIIS Hadapsar community.

Our little ones were looking forward to this school excursion trip to Hyderabad; which we had preplanned. Every single detail was planned and everything was set. This field trip was necessary as it proved to be an excellent way for incorporating knowledge into young minds. We visited places ranging from historical magnificent architecture to science and development labs and also to the golden world of entertainment. This helped the students to look into topics from all possible perspectives enabling them to learn everything. This was the last trip for the academic year that has imbibed everlasting memories in each one of our minds.

The student council for the academic year 2022-23 closed. Student council members who were elected by their classmates and other students of the campus to organize activities and address student concerns and interests declared the term ending. The council was rewarded with certificates acknowledging their tireless support they gave to the institution, teachers and students as well. The outgoing members of the student council will always be cherished and acknowledged for their contributions and presence in GIIS Hadapsar.

Our little minds are preparing for their upcoming final examination. Annual Examination 2022-23 for class IX saw the flag off on 2nd of February. While Grade I to VIII Annual Examinations will be commencing from 2nd March 2023. We wish and pray that they come out in flying colours.
