Dear Parents & Students,

We here at GIIS work hard every day to give our students a top-class education. Best wishes to all our students for the approaching final examinations. It’s been a long Academic year with virtual schooling & learning. Let’s close it with a ray of hope for a quick start of a physically functional school during the Academic year 2021-22.

I am happy to keep on record that school has been making steady progress in all the fields even during the limited hours of the virtual school. Our students have excelled in their studies and won laurels in various educational activities. Our students have performed very well in all the international interschool competitions. In extra-curricular activities & sports, the school continued to strive to provide students with wider vistas to explore and develop their talents.

The new normal gave an opportunity to the GIISians to explore all the provisions given by our 21st-century campus. The education process continued in the online form of distance learning, by way of Zoom and Google Classroom. For GIIS Smart Campus Hadapsar, this is an entirely new way of education that is not just to learn academics but also extends to learning extracurricular activities for students. Throughout the session of 2020-21, the students logged into Zoom Webinars to learn, explore and discover, while Google Classroom was made use of by posting the materials, notes, assignments, quizzes, and even assessment papers. It was followed by rigorous revisions, conducting bridge classes for the underachievers, and exam preparations by way of conducting mock tests.

Several activities and the competition was organised such as the Math Proficiency test was also conducted for grades 1-8 on Feb.20, 2021, to assess overall understanding of concepts, reviews, and analysis. Simultaneously, Quizzard was held for our little learners to gauge their level of understanding and knowledge, wherein two of our students Rajweer Raskar and Shlok Gajiwala were declared the winners. As learners advance through the vigorous GIIS curriculum, they regularly discover themselves and increase their learning horizons. It is a notable takeaway that students carry with them throughout their personal and professional lives. Indeed, GIIS SMART Campus Hadapsar is a new-age institution that is not just a place to get an education but to be in sync with the times to make students ready to take on the challenges and changes of the future.

The month of March signifies the arrival of Annual Exams! We would like to wish all the very best to our students for their exams so that they perform to the best of their abilities and potential.
