Tiny Tots secure third position in ‘Quizzards of GIIS’ Competition

The smart munchkins of Global Indian International School, Smart Campus Balewadi bagged the&nbsp;third position in the Inter-School Quiz competition, `QUIZZARDS OF GIIS&rsquo; hosted by GIIS Whitefield, Bangalore. Through this quiz competition, students got an opportunity to participate and give their best. Yet again the students of Balewadi have proved it well by adding another&nbsp;feather in the cap. The competition was thoughtfully weaved and consisted of an array of interesting rounds which kept the students hooked with the same enthusiasm till the end.

In order to be in competition, GIIS Balewadi team successfully passed the litmus test in the Tie-breaker round and scored maximum points by successfully securing the third position. This competition was organised for the <a href="https://pune.globalindianschool.org/school-levels/pre-primary">pre-primary</a> sections, who participated with great enthusiasm. &nbsp;GIIS Teams from Hadapsar, Ahmedabad, and Whitefield (Bangalore) shared the first position, followed by GIIS Balewadi and GIIS Bannerghatta. The Chief Guest was Ms. Vaishali Borde (Head of Co-scholastics and GMP, GIIS India) and the guests of honour were Mr. Ashwani Kumar Saxena (Principal, GIIS Whitefield) and Ms. Preetha D&rsquo;Mello (Head Mistress, Pre Primary, GIIS Whitefield).

The winning team of GIIS Balewadi was represented by Ekansh Kumar from grade K2A and Ishaan Holey from K2B. Both of them were too cute and smart, quick throughout the several rounds of competition, and above all, they were very prompt to answer most of the questions correctly. It was indeed a memorable moment for all the participants.

The objective behind this Inter-school quiz competition was to test the students&rsquo; capability and general knowledge of students in different categories. This event provided immense opportunities to the participants to test their knowledge in several subjects with a competitive spirit and also helped our students to not only meet their peers from the sister GIIS campuses but also learned to compete at the Inter-school level.

The Balewadi Team was quite&nbsp;optimistic&nbsp;which helped them secure the third position by answering all the questions very confidently during several rounds of the competition. There were 4 rounds in total - I SPY, Audio Visual, Rapid Fire, and the amazing tie-breaker round. Congratulations to all the young and smart Quizzards of GIIS pre-primary wing.
