Poetry is the core of literature and to spread the fragrance of poetry amongst students, the Global Indian International School (GIIS), Smart Campus Balewadi organised Rhyme Recitation Competition on 31st July, 21 for pre-primary students (Nursery, K1, and K2). Our cute little poets enjoyed the beauty of expression, rhyme, feeling, and rhythm of the poem and enjoyed the poem narration during the competition. 

The main purpose behind conducting such sessions is to build self-confidence, develop oratory skills and self-expression in the kids.

During the virtual Rhyme Recitation competition, the students performed exceptionally well and each and every student recited the poem confidently in a very unique way.

The competition also witnessed the presence of dignitaries and they praised the students for their outstanding performance at such a tender age, which was beyond their imagination.

While praising the contestants, Dr. N.K.P Ashok Raj, Principal, GIIS Balewadi said, “ We may have heard this poem several times but each and every time you will find it different because of the different expressions and presentations of our kids and this is the best way to boost self-confidence among them.”

The competition concluded with the announcement of the final result by the Chief Guest, Ms. Rachna Jain, Head Mistress (GMP), GIIS Noida. She also praised and applauded the little poets for the capabilities they possess at such a young age.
