The long summer vacation for Global Indian International School (GIIS), Smart campus Balewadi brought with it the gift of enjoyment for students that was spent in exploring books, storytelling, and playing various games with their family members.
In order to keep them engaged positively, teachers of GIIS had also planned various activities and home assignments to keep their energies well-directed during these extraordinary times. Furthermore, Holiday homework was also designed with the objective to keep them connected with their respective syllabus and will further help them in enhancing their skills, creativity as well as engage them constructively.
Not only just students, but teachers had also planned the routine in a way to engage and motivate their parents, grandparents, too along with them through activities like meditation and simple yoga exercises in order to keep up their immunity system well balanced.
The main objective was to ensure that the children rejuvenate themselves and continue their learning during the summer vacation as this is also the time when students are very likely to get fidgety and restless.
Some of the popular activities conducted during the vacation included team-building exercises, physical fitness, educative games, art and craft workshops, motor skills development, and several other activities where learning is complemented with fun & frolic. These activities provide students an opportunity to develop interests in various ECA and CCA activities, learn new skills, and hone their passions along with enjoying their summer holidays to the fullest.
