March brings ample awards & recognitions for GIIS Balewadi

As educational institutions across the world began evolving ways to complement the new normal, ever since its foundation, the Global Indian International School (GIIS), Smart Campus Balewadi is ahead of its peers in terms of achievements. The school has been preparing not just intellectually bright students but also individuals with strong physical and emotional quotient.

Our amazing international community is one of the pillars that makes GIIS such an amazing place for learners to study, develop and grow into future global citizens.

 The Global Indian International School, Smart Campus Balewadi added yet another feather to its cap, as our student Aayushi Sanadhya of Grade 9A, secured International 1st Rank in SOF - International English Olympiads 2020 and made us proud with her achievement. She has been also awarded a cash prize of Rs 50,000, a Gold Medal, and a Certificate of Merit. 

Apart from this, the enthusiastic competitors of GIIS Smart Campus, Balewadi participated in various streams across English, Maths, Science, and IT Olympiads competitions conducted by Science Olympiads Foundation (SOF). Among all, four other students secured International ranks within the top 100.

Several other virtual activities were organised by the pre-primary wing in the month of March such as Rainbow Colour Day, Black, White, and Grey Colour Day. Likewise, sports day is one of the events which children look forward to during the year. The much-awaited Annual virtual Sports Day was also held with great zeal, in a frolicsome atmosphere.

The Annual Day & Graduation Day for the pre-primary students of Global Indian International School, Smart Campus Balewadi was held on 27th March 2021. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of students in the form of Dance, Skit, and Song. The parents too joined the celebration by dancing with their kids. The Pre Primary teachers also surprised students with their dance which they termed as ‘Lazy Dance’.

The GIIS students continued the trend of marking the last day of the academic session with celebrations and sharing gratitude messages for their teachers.

It was a matter of pride to see the students smiling with excitement to embark on a new academic journey. The students graduated to the next class with poise and aplomb.

The INTACH activity conducted for the primary and secondary and Anvita Takate from Grade 7A had bagged the ‘Best Entry’ prize and was awarded a gift and certificate.

Overall, the month of March witnessed a bag full of awards, accolades and concluded with celebrations with a new ray of hope for the next academic cycle.
