The little wonders of Global Indian International School (GIIS),  Balewadi celebrated Mother's Day on 8th May, 21 to honour their mother, who is the only person who has done more for us than anyone else in the world.

Our moms are our superheroes and our biggest supporters, but we usually don’t tell them enough how much they are appreciated. On this special day, our beloved Kindergarteners’ started the day by wishing their amazing Mothers by gifting handcrafted cards. The teachers were facilitating this process of card-making during their dedicated sessions. When the mothers received the cards from their little ones, this bestowed a glow on the face of their moms. These tiny tots certainly left no stone unturned this Mother’s Day to make it a very special and nostalgic one for their moms as well as for their teachers.

The little ones also recorded a special message for their mothers a day before with the help of their teachers, which was later played by their respective class teachers during the virtual celebration. Not just that, they also participated with their father and prepared a special breakfast for their mom during the virtual class.

Mother's Day celebration was conducted with an intent to salute the effort of all the mothers and to give them a chance to enjoy the love their little one shared through several hands-on activities conducted throughout the day. It was indeed a memorable moment for every child that left an everlasting impression on their innocent and caring hearts. And at last, parents thanked all the teachers for making this day a memorable one for a lifetime.
