GIIS Balewadi wins several titles at the RWCC- 2020 finale hosted by GIIS SMART CAMPUS, Singapore

The enthusiastic competitors of GIIS Smart Campus, Balewadi participated in the virtual RWCC (Real World Challenges Convention) competition that was hosted by GIIS SMART CAMPUS, Punggol, Singapore. The theme of this year’s convention was RISE (Respect, Integrity, Skill, and Empathy) to be Leaders of Tomorrow.

The competition served as a great opportunity for our students to showcase their talents in a competitive environment. The aim of the event was to bring together students from various GIIS campuses across Singapore and other Asian countries to celebrate creativity, entrepreneurship, leadership, and to sustain the enthusiasm in teaching and learning.

The Real World Challenges Convention saw participation from all GIIS campuses across Asia, UAE, and Japan. Students from all the campuses of GIIS India i.e. Noida, Ahmedabad, Whitefield, Bannerghatta, Balewadi (Pune), Surat, and Hadapsar (Pune) participated with absolute preparation to sweep off the victory in various categories of the convention.

Approx. 800 enthusiastic students from various GIIS campuses participated in fourteen different competitions conducted across levels as part of the convention.

GIIS Real World Challenges Convention is a unique platform that encourages students to network with a host of people while giving them the opportunity to research on their chosen topic, find the root cause as well as solutions, and present the whole process.

The RWCC also provided a platform for the teachers to present their views in the form of a paper presentation on the topics related to the theme of the event. It also provided an opportunity for them to showcase their writing & artistic skills through ‘An Educator’s Perspective’, in line with the theme.

GIIS Smart Campus Balewadi won several awards and added more feathers to its hall of fame by winning accolades and recognition in various categories. It was indeed a proud moment for all the teachers and parents.
