Recently, Global Indian International School (GIIS), Smart Campus Singapore organised a Global quality circle/ Best Practice competition on the occasion of Global Excellence Day within all the international and national GIIS Campus. The participating campuses were Singapore, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Tokyo, East Coast, Punggol, Ahmedabad, Surat, Bannerghatta, Whitefield, Hadapsar, and Balewadi.
GIIS Teachers also expressed their joy and said, "We feel immensely proud of our students' achievement for the best topic in the senior category, and they have added another feather to our cap, and we wish them all the luck and best wishes for their achievement." The two teams from each junior (Grade 6 &7) and senior category (Grade 9) virtually took part in the competition from the GIIS Balewadi campus. The GIIS Balewadi team included Sania Siddiqui, Daksh Dhok, Gayatri Sangamkar, and Bharat Srikanth (All students are from grade 9).
The senior group of students named their group 'The Problem Solvers'. 'The senior group has received the 'Best Subject' award in the senior category, and their topic was 'Emotional and Mental Well Being of Students.'
Meanwhile, the class teachers also helped all the students to ideate and effectively executed those ideas virtually. It was an excellent opportunity for the team members to brainstorm the ideas behind and present the topic in a unique way. Furthermore, teachers also encouraged all the students to boost active participation and overall learning among all.
Lastly, parents also thanked the GIIS team and management for providing such a platform and opportunity for all the students. They specially thanked all the school management for organising such enhancing exchange programme where they learned beyond the classroom activities.
