Dear Parents,

Greetings of the day.

It is time to welcome the new academic year 2022-23.  As we are inching towards our new normal lives, I am sure all students have been waiting and are looking forward to making it back to physical school and attending classes just like the pre-covid times.

The past two years have been a learning experience for the students, teachers and parents. Everyone got accustomed to the new world of online teaching and learning. With everyone adapting to the new normal, all the aspects related to schooling were completed in a smooth manner be it academics, events, activities and sports.

The month of March was a focused and buzzing one with the GMP Graduation Day stealing the show. It was a time of celebration and festivity as the tiny tots of KG2 took centre stage at the graduation ceremony which was held on 19th March 2022. The little ones were an excited lot when they made it to school with their parents for the ceremony. The excitement on their faces was evident as they got a wonderful opportunity to meet their teachers and classmates whom they have been seeing on their computer screens for the last two years. It turned out to be a proud moment for parents as they witnessed their children collect their certificates from the Principal. 

Meanwhile, it was assessment time for the rest of the students as they appeared for their final examinations. I would like to thank the teachers for ensuring that the exams were conducted smoothly.

When it came to activities of the GMP section, the little ones took part in a line-up of activities which included MGCUV Honesty, Skittles Rainbow, Superhero Day and Speak Up activities.

As we are inching towards full-fledged physical schooling, which will begin soon, we will ensure that all the necessary Covid protocols are followed.  I request students to continue following all Covid protocols.

At the start of the new academic year, I would like to extend my heartfelt welcome & best wishes to all the students and new teachers who have joined the GIIS family.

I would like to thank all the parents for their continued support & cooperation as always.

It's now time to look forward to the new academic year.
