GIIS SMART Campus' secondary students took centre stage on October 21, 2023, for the year's most highly anticipated event: Annual Day. It was a celebration of artistic expression, a showcase of the diverse talents of students, and a unifying experience that brought the entire school community together for an unforgettable day.

Themed ‘Progressive Fusion’ with the underlying theme of Change through Time, the event was an ode to the evolution of knowledge and culture. The programme took the audience on a captivating journey through the Book of Time. It featured a mesmerising array of short skits, melodious songs, and diverse dance performances, seamlessly woven together to reflect the theme. The result was an enthralling and enlightening experience for the audience.

The event was split into two shows, each graced by a distinguished guest. The morning show was for the students of grades CBSE 6-8 and IGCSE 9-10. Dr Joseph Emmanuel, the esteemed Academic Director of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), India, graced this occasion with his presence and shared his wisdom in an inspiring speech.

The second show was a spectacular showcase for grades CLSP 6-8, CBSE 9-11, and IB YR 1. The event was graced by the Guest of Honour, Ms Maggie Gorse, Managing Director of Verlion Private Limited.

The grand finale marked the culmination of an incredible day. Such events exemplify the school's unwavering commitment to nurturing holistic development among its students, equipping them with 21st-century skills, and providing numerous platforms for them to shine.
