SMART Campus organised the annual STEAM Week from July 25 to July 29 providing multiple platforms for its secondary students to elevate their knowledge and showcase their expertise in areas such as Science, Technology, Entrepreneurship, Arts, and Mathematics. As part of the event, various activities and workshops are conducted by various GIIS clubs; such as Science Quiz and Exhibition conducted by the Science team, Artematics, Math Fiesta, and Calculus Bee organised by the Math Club.
The students also participated in Eco-Empathy, a science exhibition that provided them with the platform to showcase their learnings through their creative presentation of models, projects, and charts.
As part of the art activity, the students worked together in groups to create and present their creations based on the aspects of nurturing respect, integrity, skill development, and empathy. They explored these themes through mediums like digital art, traditional art, collages, as well as writing.
The Creator’s Summit gave young and talented learners an opportunity to present their ideas on solutions to various real-world problems. It was quite intriguing to see a myriad of different solutions that were all capable of tackling the real-world issue at hand.
Overall it was an enriching experience for the students as they got the opportunity to take their learning curve up by many folds. The idea behind this initiative drives by GIIS' vision to change the future of education. By providing students with such tech-centric platforms to explore their expertise and skills, students are continuously taking their learnings beyond the classroom.
