GIIS  SMART Campus held its Primary Investiture Ceremony on July 8, 2022, wherein the newly elected Student Council for the academic session 2022-23 was declared. The idea behind conducting this ceremony is not just about conferring titles but entrusting the student council members with responsibilities to work towards creating the school of their dreams.

The event kickstarted with an orchestra performance in which students showcased their talent and left the audience spellbound. After that, a video with snippets from the entire selection process was played.

As part of the ceremony, the newly elected council members were announced, which includes; Class Prefects, Level Heads to the House Captains, Head Girl, and Head Boy. It was a proud moment for the council as they walked up the stage to receive the badges and sashes in the presence of the audience. Vice Principal Ms Rekha Varghese congratulated the council members.

The much-awaited annual event is a stepping stone for the student leaders to explore their leadership skills and take up numerous initiatives and projects under the positions assigned to them, which is a perfect testimony of the holistic development approach that the school truly believes in.
