The PYP Grade 1 to 5 homeroom, language, and specialist teachers organised an information week with parents of the PYP students over the week of April 11-18, 2022. Each day, parents of each grade were invited to meet the teachers to get a deep understanding of how the curriculum works, and learn about the daily routine of the students. The detailed and informative presentations lasted an hour and were followed by Q&A sessions. 

It was an enriching event as parents learned about the PYP curriculum framework, how assessments are done, what learning platforms they need to access, important events in the calendar, and were introduced to the entire team. This engagement helped teachers and parents strengthen their partnership so as to support the students, the best they can.

In the PYP curriculum, teachers play an integral part in the students’ learning journey as they lay the stepping stones for the students to master key concepts in the most engaging way so that they develop international-mindedness and become global leaders of the future.
