Singapore Universities Education Fair went virtual this year at GIIS Smart Campus. A diverse group of universities ranging from the Arts, Business, Information Technology, Social Sciences to Engineering, Law and Medicine with world-class facilities graced the fair with their virtual presence. 

The fair was a great opportunity for parents and students to learn about opportunities for undergraduate programmes in Singapore, and to interact with representatives from these universities. Among those who participated were four public universities such as Singapore University of Technology and Design, Yale NUS College, Singapore Management University, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore University of Social Science and two private universities LaSalle College of the Arts & Essec Business School.

Students acquired information about the application process, requirements, deadlines and turning in a successful application. Parents learnt about the college facilities and fee structure. Many students were from the ninth and tenth grades, who got useful advice about subject choices in IB which in turn will help them to make informed decisions while seeking admissions to their preferred universities in future. The junior college students familiarized themselves with the tests to be taken and the scores required to get into the local universities and explore new career pathways.
