Nearly 100 parents attended an Open House for Cambridge Lower Secondary session at the SMART Campus in August 2018, where a special orientation programme was conducted for students in Grade 6 and 7 of International General Certificate for Secondary Education (IGCSE).

Parents got first hand information on the primary programme under Cambridge International School which will soon be introduced in SMART Campus of Global Indian International School. A similar programme was held in East Coast yesterday. 

The programme informed parents on what entails the Lower Secondary syllabus, the benefits of the programme, the requirements and lastly the examination structure. Information was also given on the facilities available in the school to conduct the programme. 

Parents asked many questions on the syllabus and curriculum, and got all their queries answered from principal Melissa Maria and Associate Director of Academics Pramod Tripathi. 

GIIS plans to start the Cambridge Lower Secondary programme from Oct 2018.
