“Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.” - Mahatma Gandhi
The month of October marked the birth anniversary of the exemplary leader Mahatma Gandhi. It is a special month for our school as our mission and vision is influenced by the teachings of Mahatma. It’s how we nurture our students holistically and prepare them for the path ahead.
The principles of Mahatma also guide us in developing international mindedness amongst our students. Global Village by CBSE and UN day celebrations by the IB PYP are examples where students represented countries around the world, showcasing the uniqueness of each country.
Each class transported the visitors and took them on a world tour through the country’s culture and traditions, food, currency, tourist attractions and much more. The country flags were proudly displayed in each class. For UN day, a special food exhibition was held by the PYP parents and the students enjoyed the delicacies.
Continuing with our tradition of Annual day, our kindergartners put up a spectacular show. They were confident on stage, all dressed up smartly and put up a proud smile on their parents and teachers faces. It was a sight to behold. Our CBSE primary students are now working tirelessly for their upcoming annual day in November. An exciting atmosphere amongst the primary classes, each student is looking forward to putting ahead a memorable show. Mahatma Gandhi has eloquently put forth the mantra for happiness. This mantra comes to life when we see the harmonious relationships the young ones have with their peers. Something the world around us can learn and imbibe!
Thank you and have a wonderful month ahead.
