The primary students of GIIS SMART Campus celebrated the Hindi language and its importance on “Hindi Diwas”.
The celebrations started with a virtual Hindi Assembly, highlighting the language. The classrooms were also decorated with posters and charts created by the students themselves.
Each grade also held events in their respective classes. Grade 1 students shared their favourite dolls with the class and spoke about them in Hindi, while Grade 2 students recited Hindi poems. The students of Grade 3 narrated stories, and those in Grade 4 put on a culinary show and a play on Abraham Lincoln. The students of Grade 5 engaged in a Haasya Kavi Sammelan, where they made their peers laugh continuously.
The Hindi Diwas proved to be a great day of celebration and learning for the students, as they were entertained and also educated on the language and its significance.
