GIIS SMART Campus held its Prefect Badging Ceremony for its students in grades 6 to 8 on May 8 2023. As part of the ceremony, student representatives from every class were elected and conferred with badges to carry out their responsibilities throughout the year. 

The ceremony began with a warm welcome note from the emcees, followed by an inspiring address delivered by the SMART Campus Principal, Ms. Melissa Maria. The school's academic coordinators badged the prefects, offering words of encouragement as they assumed their roles. To ensure wider participation, the event was also live streamed in all classrooms of Grades 6-8.

Overall, the Prefect Badging Ceremony was a successful event, serving as a significant milestone for the student leaders to cultivate their leadership abilities. With their newfound positions, the students are all set to embark on various initiatives and projects, showcasing their potential to contribute positively to the school community.
