Exchange of ideas for student benefit at GALS 2020

GIIS recently concluded its 14th edition of GALS 2020. GALS, Global Annual Leadership Summit, is an annual event, where teachers and staff across all GIIS campuses participate and brainstorm on various aspects associated with schools and how we can create a better experience for parents, students and other stakeholders.

Back when GALS started in 2006, it was an idea whose origins were rooted in the need to grow as a school. With futuristic thought processes and ideas that could bring valuable changes in the field of education, GIIS hosted a networking event with principals and leaders of CBSE schools.

The dynamic exchange of ideas and the brilliant outcomes from the conference set the ground for Global Annual Summit. From then on, every year, GALS has been a platform for our leaders to exchange ideas, improve processes and innovate that helps GSF conquer higher levels of excellence.

However, unlike every year, owing to the pandemic, the event was held virtually and was participated by 1500 employees across 21 campuses. The pandemic has been a great mobiliser in gaining participation from more and more employees, who got the opportunity to participate in the event virtually.

The energy level was high as the staff and employees across the organization teamed up to share their best ideas to bring more innovation into various aspects of the school. The zeal with which everyone participated gave birth to numerous innovative ideas that dealt with improving our pedagogy, customer experience, communication processes and awareness.

We would like to thank everyone who participated in GALS and looking forward to the same zeal in the following years as well.
