GIIS SMART Campus saw some proud moments as the TV Station in school premises was inaugurated by the eminent Theatre and Film personality, Ms Shabana Azmi.

Ms Shabana Azmi is an honourable member of Global Schools Foundation’s Advisory Board and was visiting the SMART Campus for the organisation’s Annual General Meeting, 2018. 

During her visit to the TV Station, Ms Azmi appreciated the fact that GIIS has gone a step ahead in giving prominence to art and culture by providing such unique facilities and it is great that children can be taught to make film and video using the latest technology from a very young age. 

TV Station is one of the specialized labs in the array of other skill development facilities like Radio Station, Culinary Lab, Maker’s Space, etc that make the SMART Campus a futuristic school with unique facilities for holistic development of students. The TV station will give hands-on exposure to students to create content, record conversation, conduct interviews, and other areas of television broadcasting.

By providing such skill-based labs, GIIS further strengthens and complements its award-winning 9GEMS framework that is meant for the holistic development of students.
