Global Indian International School (GIIS), Noida is happy to share with you all that two of our students have made us proud by participating and winning accolades at two different Badminton tournaments that were held in the city a couple of days back.

Our Star badminton player, Advit Bhargav, who represented India at the Asian Badminton Championship held at Surabaya, Indonesia, recently participated in Delhi State Ranking Badminton Championship that was organized by the Delhi Capital Association. He played in the mixed doubles category along with a partner and secured the runners-up position. Advit has been awarded with a medal, certificate, and a cash prize of Rs.9000/- as a token of encouragement and appreciation from the organizing authorities.

Naina Chauhan, a student of grade 9 and a budding badminton player also got laurels home after bagging the 2nd position at the Transform Delhi State Ranking Badminton Championship-2021, organised by Delhi Capital Badminton Association, for Girls under -17 category.

She has been awarded with a medal, certificate, and a cash prize of Rs. 2400/- as a token of encouragement to the budding badminton player.

We are extremely proud of Naina for showcasing such an amazing game at a state-level tournament. She definitely proves success and determination go hand in hand. Her parents are beyond ecstatic and thankful to GIIS for giving their child an opportunity to grow and flourish in genres other than academic.
