Global Indian International School (GIIS), Noida students participated in an event named Paryatan Parv that was initiated by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India along with other Central ministries, in the school campus to promote the cultural diversity of the country and hence the tourism. Each student from the middle wing took part with great vigour and enthusiasm.

A quiz competition was organized in October 2018, for the students and was carried out in two parts i.e. preliminary round in which the whole class participated, and the final round where top 3 students from each class took part. The first round was a general question answer round and the final round was based on audio visual clips which students had to guess and answer. A total of 12 students participated in the final round as 4 different teams.

The objective of organizing this event was to promote the benefits of tourism and to sensitize youth of the nation with sites of local tourism so that they explore the never seen before sites and cities of India.
