Graduation day marks a new beginning in every child’s academic life. They progress to the next stage i.e. the primary school where they add more dimensions to their knowledge and existing skillset.
GIIS Noida celebrated the graduation day for the KG students to bid farewell to the tiny tots who will now be moving onto the next chapter of their school life. The ceremony was conducted in the campus with a lot of excitement as the tiny tots from KG were all set to take their next step towards excellence.
The day was marked with celebrating each child and their unique talents. Respective class teachers along with their students came onto the stage to share their learnings imbibed throughout the year. Children shared about the activities they did during circle time, rhymes and songs they danced to, brain gym exercises that kept them active, affirmations that made them value the power of positivity, experiences that enriched their learning, and all that they did while celebrating special days like grandparent’s day, mango day, monsoon day, etc.
Children also danced their heart out on the song “On my way”, shared about their memories of setting up a kitchen garden, and the moments spent in planting seeds of tomatoes, carrots, potatoes and other vegetables. They also talked about participating in hydroponic activities to grow plants in water and without any soil. It was a treat to watch students sharing and discussing about different activities that taught them about simple pleasures of life.
It was a day of mixed emotions for the parents and the teachers as they saw the little ones take the next step towards a marvellous future. The celebrations concluded with a heart-warming address by Mr. Ganesh Sharma- Principal, GIIS Noida and Shakti Narang – Coordinator, PP followed by giving away of the certificates to the little graduates who came dressed in their black gowns and hats.
We wish our little graduates all the very best for their life ahead. May each one of be successful in your own unique ways and make us proud wherever you go and in whatever you do.
