“Art has always been a medium of self-expression and a reflection of one's creativity.”

GIIS Noida hosted a magnificent Art Festival to showcase and encourage the immense talent and artistic flair of middle and senior segment students. Children from grades 6 to 12 participated with great anticipation and enthusiasm in a two-day event that began with an inauguration ceremony by our esteemed Principal, Mr. Ganesh Sharma.  The festival was a celebration of artistic endeavours and a platform for students to exhibit their artistic prowess.

The school premises were all decked up with a vibrant display of art. Beautiful paintings and artworks were put on display for the school community to explore and appreciate. The art displayed showcased a diverse range of art forms like oil pastel painting, pencil shading, madhubani, bottle art, acrylic, handicrafts, pen painting, fashion jewellery, charcoal painting, Mandala art, Portraits, among others.

Day 1 of the festival began with a captivating Fluid Art workshop, guided by a representative from the renowned Camlin Group. The expert artist provided a live demonstration, igniting the curiosity and inspiration of the 130 participating students. The students exhibited great zeal and enthusiasm as they embraced the techniques and created mesmerizing art pieces. The festival was off to a remarkable start, setting the tone for the following day.

On day 2, children were engaged in craft based activities based on the art forms of bottle art, dot art, mandala art, and madhubani paintings. It was a day filled with learning and creativity, as students explored various techniques and expressed their inner talents through their unique art forms. Each art piece displayed the individuality and imaginative prowess of the young artists, earning admiration and appreciation from all who witnessed them.

The festival provided a remarkable opportunity for students to grow and excel in the world of art. It allowed them to explore their creative potential, experiment with different mediums, and showcase their artistic abilities. The festival not only fostered creative talent but also instilled a sense of confidence and accomplishment in the young artists.

The event was a successful attempt of the school’s art department at GIIS Noida in guiding and nurturing students’ artistic imagination and creating abilities. This two- day festival is example of school’s commitment to fostering a well-rounded education that promotes creativity and artistic expression among the young.
