“Knowledge becomes power only when we put it into some use”

Quizzes help children gain broad/specialized understanding of a subject. They encourage fun learning methods and also enhance the general knowledge. And when clubbed with competitions, they motivate students to perform with all their understanding and wisdom. Competitions and quizzes offer a lot more than mere rewards; they are like stepping stones to achieving greater things in life.

With the same intent and belief, the KG students of GIIS Noida took part in the virtual Inter School Quiz Competition “Quiz Wizard” that was organized by GIIS Hadapsar for KG students of GIIS India. The objective of the competition was to encourage and test students’ knowledge and understanding in academics and the world around them. The quiz had students from GIIS Balewadi, Noida, Hadapsar, Ahmedabad, and Whitefield participating virtually in this one of a kind experience.

The event was named as “Quiz Wizard” and commenced with students answering various questions based on language and literacy, early mathematics, cultural studies and general knowledge. The interesting part of the quiz was the different rounds that were based on audio, visual, rapid fire, multiple-choice question.

After a close competition, GIIS Noida students were declared winners. The winning team was Aadya Agastya and Ayaansh Kaushal and were applauded for their clarity and spontaneity showcased while playing the quiz.

We congratulate our little stars for showcasing great calibre during their participation. Kudos to the teachers and parents for preparing the students well. May this winning streak continues in the future competitions for our students.
