Dear Parents,

“A new academic year is an opportunity for new experiences, new friendships and new adventures.”

I welcome you all to the new academic session 2022-23. I also welcome my students back to the campus where they learn and evolve every day. I am glad we all have overcome the dark times and now are slowly moving back towards normalcy. But we should not forget that the fight against this deadly virus is still not over and we cannot let our guards down. Let’s overcome this hurdle fully by being cautious and taking complete precautions.

Students joined back for the physical classes with all the safety and security norms in place. It was an inexplicable feeling to see students back in action in school corridors, bubbling and moving around like they used to before the covid times. It was indeed a very special month at GIIS Noida, as the focus was on acclimatising students to the physical mode Students were made comfortable to the offline mode of teaching and learning through several sessions that were aimed at bridging that gap with appropriate measures and lesson plans.

The month of April also saw a lot of activities that made students feel comfortable and at ease with the offline mode of learning. Happiness Week, Earth day celebrations, International safety week, farewell to grade 12 students were some of the many activities conducted throughout the month.

The highlight of month was two of our students performing exceptionally well and winning at the All India National Ranking Badminton Tournament organized by the Badminton Association of India (BAI).

With the beginning of the session, we have many new students and staff members who have joined the ever growing family of GIIS Noida. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome them to the community. I wish and hope that they enjoy learning and growing with one another and embark on a journey of excellence.

At last, April kept our energy, enthusiasm and spirits high, so much so we can’t begin to unfold the surprises that await us in the months to come.
