
Cambridge Year 10 students at GIIS KL presented a thought-provoking assembly in honor of World Environment Day (June 5th). Their insightful presentation explored the critical relationship between humans and the environment, emphasizing the need for action to ensure a healthy planet.
Through a well-prepared presentation, the students delved into the impact of human actions on the environment. They showcased the negative consequences of our choices and highlighted the urgent need for change. The presentation posed thought-provoking questions, prompting students to consider the "why" behind environmental protection.
The assembly's focus resonated with several aspects of the GIIS's 9GEMS core values, specifically Gem 5: Innovation and Creativity, Gem 7: Universal Values and Ethics, and Gem 8: Community and Care.
