GIIS KL: Hindi Diwas Celebration on 14 September 2023

Hindi Diwas was celebrated in Malaysia at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Indian Cultural Centre, by the Indian High Commission on 14th September 2023. The celebration commenced with the welcome address by Indian High Commissioner H.E. B.N. Reddy. Students of GIIS KL presented a spectacular recitation and speech on Hindi Diwas. They also showcased their talent in an exhilarating dance performance which mesmerised everyone in the audience. Our students participated in the Essay writing competition and two of them secured the 1st and 2nd position. The 1st position award winner is Samridhhi Srivastav from Class 7 and the 2nd position award winner is Anjalee Soni from Class 10.

Hindi Diwas is celebrated on 14th September every year to commemorate the adoption of Hindi as the official language of India by the Constituent Assembly of India on this day in 1949.
