The IHC Badminton Competition was a fantastic opportunity for our girls to showcase their athletic abilities and have fun while doing it. It was a great way to promote GIIS' commitment to fostering sports excellence(Gem 2) and skill development(Gem 9). By participating in this event, our students not only honed their badminton skills but also developed important life lessons such as perseverance, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Moreover, the competition also contributed to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being was promoted through the emphasis on physical activity and a healthy lifestyle. SDG 4: Quality Education was supported by the opportunity for students to learn valuable life skills and develop a love for sports.
