Standard 12A recently had a fantastic assembly where students and teachers celebrated World Humanitarian Day. The event, held on August 19th, showcased talent, knowledge, and compassion.
The assembly began with a warm welcome from the MCs, followed by a prayer, thoughts for the day, and a news update. To add a touch of fun, students shared the MAHATMA core values. The highlight, however, was the captivating skit performed by the entire class, emphasizing the importance of Humanitarian Day.
Class teacher Rupa and Principal Ms. Dipti Joshna shared their insightful perspectives, inspiring students to embrace humanitarian values. The event aligned perfectly with Visual and Performing Arts (Gem 3), Personality Development (Gem 4), Innovation and Creativity (Gem 5), Universal Values and Ethics (Gem 7), Community and Care (Gem 8), and Skill Development (Gem 9).
By participating in this assembly, students not only gained confidence and knowledge but also learned the importance of Quality Education (SDG 4), Gender equality (SDG 5), Reduced inequalities (SDG 10), and Peace, justice, and strong institutions (SDG 16). The assembly left everyone feeling inspired and empowered to make a positive impact on the world.
